There are a lot less things to build in all categories - however this is balanced by wonders and buildings never going obselete - that Pyramid gives you its benefit (1/2 time for workers to construct stuff IIRC) whether its brand new, or 2050AD. Its good, bur you need to be prepared to lose a lot of the old Civ. Well, after a day and a half of gameplay with the full version. Religion is no major loss IMHO, I don't think it worked all that well. But I have been playing the Demo and it's good. I have to wait another 7 mins for the official release. If anyone was wondering, yes, this game rules you, even if you don't own it yet.
My only beef is that they removed religion.
I was worried as to whether or not I should've just grabbed the Civ IV complete package, but I'm extremely pleased with Civ V so far.
